If Microsoft is phasing out Points, can we still purchase the Champions Bundle?
I assume there will still be prepaid cards that serve the same purpose as the Points cards, but are they out yet? And if not, will this negatively affect sales of the Bundle?
All Microsoft point cards will automatically transfer into money if you’re currently in the Xbox Dashboard beta and when it is released to the public, same thing will happen.
You’ll still be able to purchase the bundle.
Points aren’t being phased out in the immediate future, maybe sometime in the next few months (except for the beta users). Its safe to buy points to buy the bundle.
At the moment you are still good for buying with points! I think the switch over is happening in a couple of months.

I got in on the beta. I can pay with $ instead of points. The points you have get transferred over into $ as well.

Yeah, either way you’re fine. You wont lose any money regardless of the timing.
I find it interesting that for the Infinity Armor, Steel Skin, and the Bullseye packs all show dollar prices but the Halo 4 champions bundle shows it is worth 800 Microsoft points.
Probably doesn’t mean anything but it is interesting.
I read in twitter of xbox magazine that microsoft points will be retired 22nd August for real money.
