Will the Champions Bundle be free with the season pass that you get with the Limited Edition of Halo 4?
No. The season pass only covered the last three map packs. Sorry.

Bringing out new map packs and charging pass holders for them when the games population is practically dead? Bad move, especially since 343 are notorious for making it seemingly impossible for us to play the DLC we pay for.
If its free with the map pass I’m all over that, if not then forget it.

That’s your fault for not knowing what the map pass offered. They stated multiple times that the Map Pass would give access to the first three map packs in Halo 4, no more, no less. They even said that the Map Pass came to an end with the Majestic Map Pack when it was released.

I know what the map pass covered. I think its ridiculous they’re charging map pass holders considering the state of the game, I was hoping it’d be an addition to the map pass. Regardless I may actually buy it, we’ll see.

Why didn’t I get halo 4 for free when because I bought halo 3? Wasn’t it like declining or something? Why are they charging people who bough halo 3 for halo 4?
I don’t understand why people are getting pissed off about it not being included in the pass. You bought the pass under the assumption that you’d receive the first 3 DLC’s for free, which you did. I don’t see why you’d expect anymore then that…

Hmm. It seems like a late addition to the game, and one that looks to be thrown in as an attempt to increase the number of people that play the game. Even though I have the map pass, I don’t see a reason for them to add the Champions DLC to it. That would mean that they’d LOSE money, which isn’t something they can really afford at this point. With all they’re doing with Halo: 5, and the live action Halo series coming out, I doubt they will put it for free to map pass holders.
And if they did put it on the pass, then kudos to them! Just means that us pass holders are getting MORE than we paid for to begin with. I could care less either way, as I’ll more than likely not be buying it in the first place.

would be nice if it was free for map pass holders because personally I’ll probably forget about it. Since they picked the worse date to release It, August 20 is when Saints Row 4, and Splinter cell blacklist is released. Most likely my money is going towards those, and spent the next 500 hours of my life in those games not a DLC. If they release the bundle near the end of July I wouldn’t mind spending $10 on DLC bundle. Otherwise it’s a no purchase for me.

Season pass MEANS you get the first three map packs, that’s it. That is what it means, that is what it was advertised as, that’s it.
If spending more money doesn’t make sense, don’t spend that money. Because you don’t want to spend money, doesn’t mean that something that is $10 should be free. If that were the case, I’d love to get a free sports car.

Yes, you should. A DLC only playlist would be very nice at the least.
It doesn’t, however, mean that the season pass should include this map pack and other DLC. The season pass specifically stated that those who purchased it would be given the first three map packs upon each individual release. That is all that it should include because that is all it was ever meant to include. Those who say otherwise are only saying such because they’re greedy and feel they’re owed something because they bought the season pass, or they’re still playing the game.
You’re not. You are not owed free DLC or free anything. You bought the game, you got the game (whether or not you enjoy it is a completely different matter). You bought the season pass, which clearly stated you would receive the first three map packs, and that’s exactly what you got. It’s only 10$ USD for everything, which is less than the price of a normal map pack, so really what’s the issue with purchasing it other than how often the maps will or will not appear in MM?
