How come the champion treshold has reached around CSR 3000, I dont think I ever saw it this high. Normally it was around 2400.
Well the season has been ongoing for a longer time than the other seasons. Which explains the higher CSR treshold.

It’s mainly glitchers and boosters in the higher ranks now, besides pros. It’s a pretty big issue in Onyx as well.

AR’s with modded controllers have rapid fire, they can kill in 20 frames (like 0.3 seconds). Abused in High Champ/Onyx.
Boosters have a party of smurfs with one High Onyx/Champ, they do this to match anyone from Bronze to Champ. The game will usually match you with plats and they’ll get destroyed, and the one guy keeps building CSR.

They really should fix this crap, and it wouldn’t be that hard.
Fix the AR so that modded controllers do nothing. And fix boosting by adding more weight to having a champion in your team. Or reducing the skill spread allowed in a fireteam, so that players of similar skill levels are together.

Not enough population in the game to have that in the higher ranks. Agree with the modded controller and boosting fix though

True, but I just thought of another easy fix. I’m pretty sure any first year student programmer could do this one - write an algorithm that detects boosting. It’d be fairly simple to look for a pattern. They lose all 10 placement matches, terrible KD, low bronze. Then suddenly they’re playing like high level onyx players, their KD goes through the roof.
This AR glitch is showing up more and more, last night I saw it again on Vetoeds stream. HOW is this still not fixed by 343, I cant believe it.

Thats the main reason i dont play much slayer anymore. It really ruins the game.

Not to hijack this thread, but I missed Vetoed’s stream yesterday. Did they make an issue of it in the chat? He had full shields and could barely get halfway through a reload before he died from the AR. I’ve seen a couple threads about this lately and they even sell modded controllers on Amazon believe it or not. I’m so bad at H5 that I’m sometimes embarrassed at my game play, but I’d be more embarrassed to be outed as such a blatant cheater.
