Champion Rank Update / In-Game Rank Display

10/31 Update: All issues are resolved.

10/29 Update: We have deployed an update to CSR leaderboards, and Champion ranks will now appear correctly.

We’re currently performing some maintenance to CSR leaderboards and the Champion rank until we are ready to deploy some additional updates this weekend. For those in the Champion tier, your displayed rank will temporarily not adjust. Match results and stats are still being collected, and your CSR rank is still be calculated as it normally would. For those in the Champion tier, after each match you’ll see your rank appear as Onyx with the CSR rating in the Post Game Carnage Report. Once our final CSR update is implemented and you play your next match, the Champion leaderboard will be updated to reflect the most up-to-date ranks, and you might see your Champion rank go up or down depending on your place on the leaderboard. You should continue to play as normal.

We’ve also seen some reports from folks who state that it appears their ranks appear to have reset, and no placement matches have been played. This is just a display issue that we’ll have fixed soon. In the meantime, if it looks like your stats have been reset, first check your Service Record on Halo Waypoint to see if your ranks are present. Next, hard reset your Xbox One (hold down the power button for 5 seconds, or unplug your console for a moment) and the stats should appear as normal the next time you fire the game up. Any matches you play while your stats aren’t appearing in-game will still count towards your stats and rank. Apologies for this temporary situation. We’re on it!
