I have followed the promethean conceptual evolution from early concepts to the Halo 4 manifested form. Recently I noticed that the Prefect armor that will be released with Champion bundle has striking similarities to an earlier Bungie concept. The Perfect armor set appears to be at least partially inspired by this early Promethean concept. This is surly a nod to Bungie’s original Promethean concept. Me likey.

Thank you! I could not put my finger on why it looked so fresh, and yet so familiar…now I do feel better about putting down my money on this seemingly spare DLC (more maps in a DLC for our money, hint hint 343).

The similarities are striking. Makes me wonder if we’ll see any Forerunner later on with a similar-ish body scheme…

1: any of various high officials or magistrates of differing functions and ranks in ancient Rome
2: a chief officer or chief magistrate
3: a student monitor in a usually private school
You are right. It does look like the original concept.
I meant Bungie Concept.
Forerunner artifacts are always angular, it doesn’t look like it was inspired by that concept to me other than the hard edges. Take any shape and make it “blocky” and it’ll look Forerunner in origin.

My reason for wearing Prefect!
Hmmm they do look alike Wonder if that was planned or it was a simple coincidence. Still, can’t wait to get my hands on that DLC pack!
