I’ve got an unusual issue here. Last night I finished playing my placement matches in breakout. Now it is a fact that you shouldn’t get any higher rank than 1700 Onyx after placement matches and minimum requirement for champion ranks is 1800 CSR.
So finishing the placement matches I expect an 1700 CSR Onyx to pop up and all of a sudden a champion 1 rank pops up. I checked the leaderboards and there it was: me champion 1 with over 2.3k CSR with only 10 games. I had hoped it was a glitch and would’ve been fixed over night but as it is still there I’d be happy if someone from 343i would take a look. Clearly something odd has happened.
Hey OP, just found out from Dr. Menke that this isn’t a bug, it’s actually intentional. I’ll quote his response from the matchmaking thread:

> Those CSRs are all correct. The difference is that for the initial roll out of TrueSkill 2, we are placing players exactly at their MMR. Usually we artificially pull you back at least 100 CSR, to a max of 1700. This time we’re placing right at exact.
