I’m guessing a teammate did some reasonable damage to them too. You need to do most of the damage I think for it to count.
That’s total bs then it should say did most damage not kill.
I’m hoping they can fix it. If it shows you getting the kill on screen with the weapon it should count as far as I’m concerned, even if you just did the final bit of damage.
It’s probably just bugged at the moment and not intentionally like that
