Whenever MCC closes on Xbox for any reason, the challenge progress resets and I have to them start over. Both the progress bar and counter reset to 0. Mildly unfortunate that Weekly and Season challenges become daily challenges…
Here’s a workaround: while in the main menu, sign out. When the game goes back to startup screen, press start and sign in back. All your challenges should be restored.
