I completed most of the PVE weekly challenges and some Seasonal Challenges aswell. I called it a night knowing I did a good work. Woke up the next day only to find all my weekly challenges have been reset to zero, even of I already completed them. (I guess that a good thing if you look at it in a different angle. It means I can farm seasonal points every day.) However some of the lengthy seasonal challenges that I was almost done with have also been reset to 0.
Just spreading word about the issue, hopefully 343 sees this problem soon and fixes it asap

But in terms of seasonal challenges, I was wondering if others had the same issue. The only ones tracking for me are the MP3 Player ones. I was so close to some of them too.
Weekly’s definitely reset today based on the timer that was displayed Monday night and yesterday; that was scheduled and intentional. Why in the blue hell the Seasonal and the Halo 3 celebration ones also reset I would really like to know because that wiped my progress from the past two days.

I know it sucks, im feeling frustrated aswell.

For the Acrophobia Challenge I went into Crow’s Nest on Normal and made it to the part where you meet the Buggars for the first time. Bring a Machine Gun Turret from the previous hangar you came from. After you kill the buggars and see the doors open with marines inside, reload the checkpoint and you got easy farming
For the co op stuff I used a second controller and followed the video
As for me I dont think I worry to much about the multiplayer seasonal challenges until this issue gets fixed. No point playing 100 games of multiplayer if you risk a blackout ir your game freezing

I forgot about the weekly challenges resetting. I just assumed that since Halo 3 pc launched a day prior from its usual weekly reset, that the challenges would reset on that day instead
Same problem, on Tuesday I almost completed some seasonal challenges, however today every single one was on 0 including the Halo 3 celebration ones, but I just restarted the game thinking it didn’t load correctly or something and I don’t know how but I got back some points, not every single one but at least is something, For example: I remember that the Challenge “Corps Values I” on Tuesday I left it around 400, and today after restarting the game it’s on 136. I have no idea how or why. I hope this issue doesn’t repeat again because Hell, I want those UNSC weapon skins from the pinned seasonal challenges and of course the Acrophobia skull.
Fix:
“Sign in” in game and not in the xbox dashboard before you play a game.
