Got a kill with a bulldog shotgun for the challenge “dogged determination” but the game game didn’t track it after I got it in a BTB match. Now I have to try to get another kill with the bulldog… but what if it doesn’t track again? Lol. Game feels very meh right now anyways, not enough playable content to keep me coming back. Gonna play MCC.

Here is proof that they dont work correctly, for some reason a third to half of my kills dont count each match.

They wont comment on this, there has been many posts, even video that I have recorded and sent in. I had matches where it showed my progress towards something and never countered, I have had kill X spartans and got like 20 kills and only 7 registered on the quest.

What I noticed is that many times when somebody assists you with the kill, the kill does not progress towards the challenge.
The same thing is true if you switch weapons too early (basically before the enemy died, can happen with the SPNKR for instance).
But yea, no response. They mentioned some fixes but not everything is fixed yet.

Pretty sure it’s where you’ve been assisted. Try getting a kill outright with it and see if that counts.
I know now if I got an assisted kill I ignore it and keep trying to get kills with that weapon rather than dropping it and using something else. Too many times at the end of the match I’ve seen it didn’t count, including the brute chopper spike cannon challenge which was annoying.
Ended up having to do 71 kills for the 50 kill challenge, because it’d stop counting my kills at 10 or12, even though got 16 kills in the match.
I have the same problem. I am trying to get 4700 across PvP and it stopped tracking after the first match. I have three weekly challenges that will not progress.
It’s March, and this is still a problem. Just got four or five G-hammer kills, and have done so for several round of Fiesta. So far the game has given me one(1) G-hammer kill…

Yeah I’ve had this same problem with this specific challenge even now since the last few updates
