The title is pretty self explanatory and all that needs to be said. The amount of times I’ve had to redo challenges this last update has been ridiculous. WAY more than the initial halo 3 pc update.

Agreed and now we have less season points and time to complete this season before they release the next one

Yeah my objective medal challenge has reset like 5 times, it’s pretty annoying. Honestly I hope next season they really put some effort into the challenges. Last week they had a challenge to get a Legendary Medal (Extermination, Perfection, Killionaire, Unfriggenbelievable), no season point and worth only 15,000XP… Then they have campaign challenges worth 25,000XP and 2 season points and all you have to do is get 50,000 points in a mission. Like huh? Do they have no gauge on what is difficult?
I love that they added this system but was hoping they would put more thought into it, honestly.
Hey folks, issues related to this are known by 343 and they are investing, but please do make sure and file a bug report about this on the Halo Support site: https://aka.ms/HaloSupport

Well, I’ve found a “fix”:
If you have completed a challenge, don’t restart the game (or you are going to lose your current progress), just play another campaign or change the multiplayer game (if you complete a challenge in Halo 4, change to Halo Reach, for example). What you have to do is trying to complete a different challenge (you don’t need to complete it at all), then the other ones are going to refresh (this is what I discovered today).
For some reason the challenges are not refreshing or they are delaying, some of them get stuck in “200/200” (example).
I completed the challenge where you have to complete 3 missions with 20K, I completed them in Halo 4, but it stucked at “3/3”, so I change to Halo Reach campaign and got some kills for other challenges, for some reason all the challenges refreshed and I earned all the XP and Season Points for the challenges that were stucked.
I think that the challenges info just delays, so, I suggest to keep playing matchmaking or a different campaign until they give you the season points and/or XP.

Hm, I’ll give that a try when the challenges reset today. Thanks for the info man.

It…kinda worked? I finished the pinpoint and time trial challenges then about 30 minutes later they started unlocking after a couple of multiplayer games and after a campaign mission, I did do what you said and it did work for that, but once it started happening to another set of challenges, it didn’t work. Just gotta keep going at it for a little while longer I guess haha.
The fix does work, eventually. But now it’s just happening with other challenges. This happened last week also, but only with a couple of them. So far this week I have had 6 different challenges bug out, and I didn’t even get the experience for some of them.
