Challenges lack imagination and need revising

Now, before I start, I know some of you will be thinking that completing 2 games with a given leader might actually be a challenge given the current server issues and disconnects, but I think the challenges could be more interesting than this.

Examples:
Kill 15 opposing units with an Ultimate unit before it’s destroyed
Win a Blitz match in under 7 minutes
Win a 3v3 match with no one on your team being defeated
etc.

These sound more like challenges than the current crop on offer (listed below).

Current Challenges:
Daily - Finish two match-made games as Cutter.
Daily - Finish two match-made games as Atriox.
Daily - Finish two match-made games as Isabel.
Weekly - Finish four match-made team games of Deathmatch.
Weekly - Finish nine match-made games as Atriox.
Weekly - Finish nine match-made games as Isabel.

If challenges did have a higher criteria, I’d expect better rewards from them as compensation. I’m not going to go out of my way doing a pain in the -Yoink- challenge for a single pack and 400xp.

Good thoughts. At this stage, they should be called “rewards.”

It seems they’ve formulated them as incentives to encourage people simply to play.

To me, an ideal system rewards participation and offers genuine challenges to those who want them, as well as educates players in order to deepen their approach to the game.

I would love to see better challenges as the current ones are a pain to be honest. My favourite leader is and red because of those stupid weeklies. It always seems to be leaders I don’t like

Meant to say can’t make your own challenges, my bad, silly phone

I like them, they are easy to complete. But yh they do need some imagination in the future

Not everyone wants to play matchmaking so why not incorporate campaign, custom game and firefight challenges into the mix?

Perhaps they could include more challenges that cover various match types and play styles, but cap it at max 3 blitz packs per day.

Challenges are the best way to earn Blitz packs and I’d rather not have them be made more onerous as earning packs through leveling up takes much longer.

I think one like:

-Kill 10 Air units in multiplayer (DAILY)
-Deploy two Kodiak on a single blitz match (DAILY)
-Destroy 6 energy cores in Blitz (DAILY)
-Win 5 matches in multiplayer before 20 min (WEEK)
-Win 10 matches in multiplayer capturing more than 2 bases (WEEK) (TOO LONNNGGGGGG AND BORINGGGG)

haha yh, the only two achievements that I need to ace this game

I feel like the only reason they even added challenges was so they could say there is a way to get an unlimited amount of blitz packs for free. Once you reach max rank and beat the campaign/tutorials, challenges are all that’s left for free packs, right?. Some people even think 24 packs a week is reasonable (and that’s only if you play for an average of 1-2 hours every single day) when someone who is willing to spend several hundred dollars comes along and gets literally months worth of packs within minutes. I don’t understand how some people think that isn’t P2W. I wouldn’t have minded the microtransactions if they actually gave us a fair amount of ways to get free packs.

Anyways… I agree that the challenges lack imagination, but as someone else said, if they’re changed, the rewards should be changed accordingly because right now they also suck.

I have to wrap up 2 bonus objectives and then I also will have this game aced. Hope they get this addressed soon.

But I do like more in depth challenges
