So I got 7 co-op missions done, I went to take a break and when I signed back on the challenges reset back to 1 mission, is there any way to avoid the reset or is it just another bug in the game that’s going to keep happening until I actual finish the challenges, I’ve had this issue 3 times now.
It’s a very nasty bug, since it wastes your time and effort.
Every time you load mcc, check your challenges first. If they’ve been reset, close the game and relaunch. Eventually you’ll get your progress back. If you play with it reset (like you play a game of H3 mp while MP3 Player is at zero) you WILL lose your previous progress. Get into the habit of checking, it will be weeks before they fix this 
I just made a post about this too, then saw yours. I’m having the same problem, every time I restart mcc all my progress is gone, so if I want to complet a challenge I have to do it all in one go, kind of annoying with the larger challenges

Exactly and 15 campaign missions is a huge grind, especially when you have to do it coop, I’m just glad I completed the halo 3 challenge
