Does anyone know if there will be any form of challenges or events to do in H4? Has anything been said about this?
Noone has said anything, but I honestly hope they are back, and are more fun to accomplish this time around. As well, there should be more incentive to complete them than just credit boosts. I think completing a certain number of Challenges should be a step towards unlocking weapon skins/other goodies.
I would like to see Commendations return as well, but alot more specific, say instead of 20,000 precision weapon kills to Onyx, there is a separate Commendation for the BR, DMR, Carbine, Sniper, etc. each only requiring 4000 kills to Onyx.
Events would be nice too. Double Exp Weekend was an awesome weekly event, and it was a new playlist every weekend which was awesome, not having this, or something like it was a real step backwards. Gears 3 has scheduled events as well, each with their own unique gimmick playlist, and I think they are a fun extra.
If there are, I want them to require skill, and give whatever it gives to rank up. This way, bad players can’t simply play with good teams, and rank up.
That always makes me return to Reach them challenges, they best be back!
I am pretty sure they are bringing challenges back because they always made the game more fun.
Challenges should come back. They were fun to do and give me a reason to play FireFight, which I rarely do. Its fun to see that 2000+ cR at the end of a match.
Wouldn’t make sense not to include them in H4.
