I get the majority of these challenges are considered to be completed in a week’s tine length, which is fine. Im ok with that. But when you give us challenges that tells us to destroy a certain vehicle, use a specific weapon, or complete a certain game mode, this is where rng starts coming in. You see currently right now we cannot choose what game mode we want to play. This interfears with certain challenge progressions, thus wasting our time if we constantly keep getting bad rng.
And its just added rng if it comes to vehicles. Im currently stuck on the “I Aint Afraid” challenge because most of the btb maps arn’t dropping ghosts, instead they are dropping choppers. On top of that I simply cant kill a ghost without a power weapon, and killing the driver doesn’t count either. Why make a challenge where you have to specifically destroy a certain vehicle, if the vehicle never spawns in the first place? Why not make a challenge where we kill spartans on vehicles instead? Its more player friendly that way. Im not about to spend an entire day hunting down 2 ghosts that never spawn for me, and when they do, I cant do anything to destroy them because once I trigger its doomsday effect, the driver bails out. Adding another layer of rng is getting the Skewer or Rockets, which are the best vehicle killers to use, but your fighting the other team for them.
And now on to weapon challenges. These arn’t bad at all, a few game modes will fix this. (Covenant Slayer, Fiesta, Shotty Snipers, Action Sack, ect ) Currently right now though, lets say you need to get kills with a bulldog or disruptor, well youll be glad to know it doesn’t spawn on every match you play to even take advantage of it.
Please make these challenges more player friendly. Make them not easy to do, but you feel like your not wasting your time doing them also. I would really like to put Destiny’s challenge and bounty system up here, as an example and refference. Not to hard, lengthy for most, and you progress through them no matter what you do.
