I completed the normal Halo 3 Campaign playlist to complete Voi Polloi I (which requires you to complete a full Halo 3 compaign playlist) and it did not work. The 2nd and 3rd ones also did not acknowledge this, yet steam did since it gave me an achievement saying that i completed a Halo 3 playlist. is there a fix to this or a bug that hasn’t been patched?
Yes, i think they are a bit bugged, me and my friends were trying to get the kill light infantry challenge in custom firefight and the challenge was completed only by me since i was the host
Yeah, challenges seem to be a little broken right now, especially with saving progress. I’ve seen a potential solution is try signing in and out of your account, so may give that a try.
Same thing happened to me. Strange thing is I completed a Reach playlist earlier and Voi Polloi 2 & 3 both registered it. It seems the problem only exists in Halo 3.

i completed halo 3 and it registered for the challenge but halo CE did not register i’ve tried relogging but that didnt work for me

weirdly, when i did it, it unlocked all 3, even though that’s the first playlist i did.
I’m having problems too. I just tried closing the app, logging out then back in amd reopening the app, and all my in-progress challenges seem to have reset… this is kind of annoying

I think it is only halo 3 playlists but I am not positive.

The first challenge specifies halo 3 only, the II and III variants light up for all the other titles so I’m assuming that it would atleast count as progress for voi polloi II.
My vio polloi was SUPER WEIRD. So I did a playlist with a friend giving me Voi I, Voi II was 1/2 amd Voi III was 1/3. Same for my friend.
We took a break, I exited game and he did not. When I logged in I had Voi I complete but progress for Voi II and Voi III was now 0. Needless to say I was…unhappy. So anyway here’s where it gets weird. I started another playlist to at least get my friend towards the challenge completion. Anyway we load into the map and I’m instantly awarded Voi II and Voi III. Having only just started my second playlist.
My friend’s progress is still correct but mine was set to 0 then catapulted to being finished…

Mine completely glitched out! I just quickly did the driving playlist for H3 and finished the first mission but my game crashed while trying to luanch the Ark. When i started it back up and hit resume it completely skipped the level, i got the achievement for par time complete on The Ark, and it counted. But before i could even finish Halo it had already counted all 3 Voi challenges. Also, the PVP challenge involving playing objectives is broken for me.
Is there any official word on this? Did a playlist, still no progress and this specific issue doesn’t seem in the list of known issues…

Hey thanks for the quick answer! This wasn’t listed under the two bullet points under known issues so I wasn’t sure if this specific issue was known, glad to hear that it is 
Yeah same here my Voi Polloi challenges are bugged and are not working, I completed three full campaign playlists and still nothing. It’s seems to exclusively be an issue on steam.
Still waiting on the Seasonal challenges for the Gold weapon skins to get fixed as well.
Voi Polloi is very weird in its description. I too thought it’s bugged, but apparently the description is just completely off. What I did to get it to complete was clearing one playlist from three different Halo games each; I picked H3, H:CE and H:R. You don’t need to do the entire campaign as a playlist, the short lists suffice. For H3 I did the Legendary Playthrough since I did that when it launched anyway, for H:CE I picked Vehicle Playground and for H:R I picked Noble Team Doubles.
