Challenge tracking?

So I was doing my ‘Kill (x) amount of players with the Commando’ challenge and in this case it was just 5 players. I was stuck with Strongholds and managed to get 8 actual confirmed kills with the Commando and yet the challenge only awarded me 3 for the progression.

Has anyone else had the challenge tracker just not track correctly?

Yes, I have issues with this. Many people on here have mentioned challenge tracking not working correctly.

I’ve had problems with the commando one like you and five kills with the chopper guns.

Yeah, It happened to me on the Hydra challenge. I got 3-5 with the hydra and they gave me credit for 1.
