I’m noticing tons of people over the past month have had challenge reset issues and I myself just encountered it after finishing a playlist. I completed 3 challenges and, just like everyone else’s issue, I noticed that the challenge bar had shown as being completely full but the challenge itself did not register as being completed. I didn’t want to restart my game as I heard people lost progress entirely by doing so. I launched another app on my Xbox not thinking that it would probably shut down my MCC app and lo and behold, that’s exaclty what happened. Now my progress has been reset as if my entire play session with my friend over this evening never happened.
I lost 10 season points and tons of XP. I just submitted a ticket on the support site as I saw that’s what we need to do but am I just SOL in terms of getting my season points and XP back? Or is someone able to unlock those challenges for us once we provide sufficient proof? Like I don’t feel it’s an unreasonable ask to provide a challenge completion for someone who spent hours just trying to unlock something all for the game to just be like “Nah, you didn’t do that.”
I’m just hoping that all of that time isn’t just down the drain and that all of the players effected by this bug actually get some sort of resolution here.
