For 3 days now i’ve been unable to make any progress towards my challenges and it’s quite annoying. I’m well past the point where I can earn season points by leveling up, so challenges are the only way for me to unlock anything. I don’t mind that, it’s just that the challenge hub for me has been totally inconsistent in weather it wants to even work or not. So i’m stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I’ve tried everything to get it working but to no avail, no matter what I do, the challenge hub is stuck “Retrieving”. I’ve tried logging out and in again, verifying game files, updating any drivers, updating Windows, etc. But nothing came of it. I have no clue how this bug occurred. For the first few days after the update everything worked fine, but now it’s broken.
If anyone has had the same issue, and somehow found a magic fix, please let me know.
Same problem here, I can’t search for any multiplayer games until the challenge hub is avaliable.
If I enter a campaign mission for about 30 minutes finally some challenge progress bars will pop up and the hub is finally avaliable and I can go into multiplayer.
Running on Windows 7 but this problem didn’t come up til a week after Halo 3 launched
So damn annoying

Hey folks, there was a patch released today that should fix issues with challenges. After you’ve updated can you give things a try again and see if it’s fixed for you?

Installed the patch but Challenge hub is still retrieving indefinitely, it will likely become avaliable if I wait 30 - 45 minutes but I can’t do that every time I want to jump into a few games of Multiplayer

No sadly not. Even after the patch my Challenge Hub is indefinitely “Retrieving”. After I play some matches the little “Challenge Progress” bar will appear, but it wont even show for what challenge or how many X out of Y I did. So I know the game in some way is tracking my progress but im unable to ever actually see it myself,
For those still having the issue after updating the game, are you on Xbox? If so, try performing a hard reset of your console. I’ve seen other people say that the update only applied after this was done.

No im on Windows 10, playing the Steam version of MCC
