Even after people complained with the 5-6 regicide challenge repeats last week, we still see lots of repetition and very short weeklies.
Campaign: same format, beat a specific level solo legendary and have a specific skull on. Weekly challenge that can be done in 30 min.
Spartan Ops went from 6 challenges to 2 this week and are repeats of previous challenges. Also weekly challenges that can be done in about an hour.
War games. Why have a weekly challenge that is “do this in one game”? What about the rest of the week? Most likely, anyone who bothers to get the 9 wins daily challenge will get the weekly challenges as well. What happened to weekly challenges that would at least take a few hours or a couple of days? The only weekly so far that’s taken a decent amount of time so far has been the 125 multi-kills challenge in week 1.
Who’s up for a challenge that is at least kind of a challenge?
While I don’t play the game for the sake of completing challenges, it can defiantly add to the game when they are balanced between challenging and reasonable. That said I agree with OP and I am beginning to wonder how much thought is going into these challenges.
Yeah if theyre gunna half–Yoink- all the challenges they need to enable custom waypoint challenges. The xp cap stops u from getting challenge or commendation xp anyways so the argument that theyre disabled to stop boosters is somewhat invalid.
They are too easy, and the only one that gives you decent xp is the monthly, and I did that within the first week. I bet next weeks challenges will be:
Complete Infinity solo on Legendary difficulty.
Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic skull on.
Get 18 kills with a fully automatic loadout weapon in a single match.
Get X amount of multikills.
Kill 100 Grunts.
Kill 40 Knights.
They’re my predictions, hopefully they actually make decent ones though. Shame, I’ve been looking forward to these challenges and all I only have the dailys and SpOps ones left.
