Please read all of this before judging. Also add to these ideas if
you think challenges should be harder and more rewarding.

The challenges in Reach are really just not a challenge. I hope 4 will change this to keep
the players trying to achieve something more difficult and that has a great payout.
The definition of a challenge:
-A challenge is a general term referring to things that are imbued with a sense of <mark>difficulty and victory.</mark>
Challenges need to be harder:
Almost every challenge in Reach is fairly easy to achieve and the weekly challenges
just take time.
I think they should make challenges harder and actually make less of them.
We need to have that feeling of victory/success when you achieve a challenge
that many wouldn’t be able to achieve.
The weekly challenge should really be Extremely hard.

The REWARDS:
Not every challenge should give you credits or points. They should make some of the weekly challenges
worth actually trying to get.
Example:
Weekly challenge -Beat the campaign on legendary solo.
Reward: <mark>Specialization Unlock (Random) or helmet unlocked</mark>
The fact that you could unlock something rewarding that you could show off
would make more people actually try to achieve them.
How many times have you seen “beat a campaign mission blah blah blah…reward 3,000 credits”
^ This above makes these challenges repetitive and boring.

Maybe instead of just weekly they could have a monthly challenge.
A monthly challenge could have a great reward. I really like the Mass Effect 3 packs that you get
after playing so many matches.
Monthly challenge:
- A challenge that is extremely hard with a awesome victory item.
- Since its a monthly challenge people who actually achieve this would be lower
- Unlock new skins/upgrades or specializations.
- Some items could stand out since less would actually beat the challenge.
Not only could they introduce more players to actually feel like completing a challenge
but to feel like the challenge was worth it.
Mass Effect 3 has a weekend challenge every now and then that the community could get if everyone
took part in a certain goal. This would also be great for a monthly challenge.
Example:
Community challenge: (either weekend challenge or monthly)
- Play a total of 1 million matches.
- 117,000,000 kills or deaths.
- Beat the campaign solo legendary 1,000,000
But in order to achieve the challenge you actually have to complete the goal yourself.
This way someone doesn’t just get the challenge even when they haven’t beaten the challenge
when it was made.
