So I was working on a challenge get 10 Spartan kills for Last Spartan standing and the game said it was okay to quit Last Spartan standing so when it came around to getting my last kill and I quit the challenge disappeared and I got no progression for the event but the challenge completed itself. Does this mean quitting only gives you progression on the challenge and not the event itself? Because it seems the only way to earn event progression is to stay with the whole match and watch the results screen.
I find it super inconsistent. Some people are supposedly reporting that you can quit, but the game you quit has to finish before you get any progress. Honestly I found the only consistent way is to stay and watch until the end unfortunately.

There is a bug in the number shown on the event pass in those cases. I had the same problem earlier this week where the event pass still said 5, even though i completed the 6th event challenge and ‘quit’ early after being eliminated. However, when i restarted the game, it did say 6.

You don’t need to do that if you don’t want to watch and waste time.
If you quit then it counts when the game ends. If it doesn’t, restart the game close Infinite and open again and it will have counted. I didn’t stay in a single game I lost and it all counted.
Yeah I’ve done this and still not had progress track.

At least next week the challenges are all easier and worth double. So you’ll only have to do a few to finish the event pass.
I’m not saying it doesn’t work sometimes, but I usually just stay in until the end just to be sure. It’s good chance to go to the bathroom or grab a snack lol

Seems like it depends on the person. Every single game i have quit has given me zero credit and not even shown up as played.
It really sucks some times. Just played a game where 4 lives in a row i spawned with someone already shooting me. Was eliminated within 3 minutes and now just waiting around not playing
It completes the challenges, but I didn’t see any xp progress until after restarting the game.
Just another issue in the game that shouldn’t be there, that is frustrating and time wasting.
