Hey, so why are event and regular challanges not separate again? I for one am not going to waste my time on this cyber showdown thing because the “rewards” if you can call them that are not worth my time. But because every second challange is event related I know have 3 challanges only related to the event and I’m unable to get regular challanges.

Unfortunately for you, you have to do the event ones if you want the weekly. They are a part of the weekly BP so they’ll give you xp and get your closer to the weekly ultimate.
Whatever you do, don’t waste swaps on them (if you can? I’ve got none left) because you’ll just get more event ones.

It’s not about the weekly more like the extra xp to finish this lame battle pass. I ain’t touching the event as I stated above, so I guess I’ll just play 6 games to get a level.

I was under the impression the event challenges gave you Exp (which always counts toward the regular BP - the event BP progresses based on number of event challenges completed). I can’t verify as I finished the BP some while back but I don’t think this has changed?

Yes, you get xp but you have to put up with playing a playlist you don’t like.
I finished my BP and I’m still playing it just to get the weekly but I’m playing like an absolute unallowed c word 
They do, point is, I do not wish to sink time into the event and its separate challanges.
Challenges straight up ruin the game for me. They aren’t hard, just an annoying slog of dumb -BLAM- I need to do that mostly just gets me killed. They are the opposite of fun, and genuinely detract from the game.
I’ve done every single cap-stone so far, but this weeks laundry-list of annoyances is just shock-full of absolute -BLAM- -BLAM- for me. I played two games yesterday trying to get back-smacks, and I just couldn’t be -Yoink!-.
Straight up turned off the game.

It sounded like the issue was that you wanted to progress the BP and could not due to the event challenges - but I get now that it’s mostly about the mode (not the biggest fan of it myself). So it was a misunderstanding.
Personally I still like the fact that I have a lot of challenges I can progress at the same time, as compared to the regular one’s which tend to involve a different playlist/mode each (and there are a few I don’t really care for). If it was all objective and BTB that would be my ideal (but of course everyone has different preferences there).
And especially annoying when the challange doesn’t count X number of kills for the progress when you did exactly enough or even a bit more.
