343 is definitely not the company that comes to mind when I think of a responsible company that is fit to take over a franchise like Halo.
Halo is going to fall out off the map if it continues with the same company that is making horrible mistakes. I’m sick of sprint, I’m sick of AA or SA, I’m sick of sliding, I’m sick of almost everything 343 has done.
Where are those experiences that defined Halo 1-3 ODST? I remember the first time I learned of the power of the Recon Helmet in H3, I remember my friend dying and all our lives are gone and me holding off as long as I can, eventually having to fall back to not die as fast. I remember the eerie feeling of silence when everyone on split screen CE is hiding.
I don’t have any fun experiences in H5.
Who is Certain Affinity?
If you don’t know who Certain Affinity is, they have worked closely with Bungie before 343 came into view. It is comprised of Ex-Bungie members and some industry veterans. They helped work on H2 Anniversary, They made multiplayer maps for H2 Vista and H2.
Why are they better than 343?
Certain Affinity is better than 343 because, well, think of how many mistakes 343 has made. H4 burnt out it’s population, Halo The Master Chief Collection’s launch was horrible, and H5… Disappointing amount of content and no incentive to play besides a Helmet that you can get that people can get on their first REQ pack.
Will I buy Halo 6?
Depends, if SA are there, if The Master Chief Collection still has a healthy population, if Reach is still kicking it, if there is a REQ system 2.0, If no to all these then I will. If yes to at least 2 of these? No.

Instead of rebutting my argument and giving an intelligent, well written response, you essentially say “-Yoink- off because I disagree with you.”
Ever assume that if there are so many people that are sad with 343, then 343 is doing something wrong? You say yet another person like there is a topic like this everyday. That’s a lot of unhappy people.

Something certainly needs to change. Whoever develops the next halo hopefully will look back to halo 2 3 4 and 5 to take the best parts of each. I want balanced weapons, good btb maps, a functioning lobby, competitive and social playlists. Oh and incentives to keep playing like level locked armor or achievement unlocked armor. One last thing more customization of nameplates and armor.

Yes he did, but he’s a member of the forum like you and I, and he is permitted to post, on topic, I do not want another dev, Halo 5 is pretty good imo, not perfect, but they (343) are getting there.

Seriously, even if it’s not “Halo 6”, just let them make a small spinoff-Halo-game, preferrably in the style of the original trilogy. Make it have a small campaign and some multiplayer maps (about the same amount that H5G shipped with should suffice at first), and then, if the game catches on, you could always expand on it with DLC. If it doesn’t, then no biggie, it was just an ODST-type side-project anyways.
As for campaign, I would suggest centering it around Red team, which should return in Halo Wars 2 anyways. They still have their old GEN1-armor so lore-wise no Spartan-Abilities-nonsense.

I dunno. H3 already looks good enough. I dont think this generation is powerful enough… unless we’re talking vr update!

Truth be told, I’m not really in favor of H3A.
First of all, I’d rather have them fix the Master Chief Collection, because Halo 3 looks good enough to me and I don’t need the same game twice on the same console.
Secondly, I don’t want this to be a neverending trend of remakes so that we get Reach Anniversary one year before we get Halo Anniversary - The Anniversary.
Thirdly, I really want a new campaign with classic Halo mechanics. If I wanted to replay the old titles, I wouldn’t have to even buy the MCC, I still have them here. (And I actually do replay them every now and then.)

remaster =/= spin-off
having another H2A type of game is one of the last things I want, one should go way back to HCE, look at the way this game works and build a small but new game using improved HCE fundamentals!

Edit: I think a H3A isn’t even possible on the XBO…I cannot see how this console will be able to run 360 graphics in the background like we know it from HCEA and H2A
