CEA's Ranking System?

Since it was confirmed, seperate multiplayer.
How will this work?
What if you haven’t played Reach, will you get whole new rank?
And I am guessing if you have played Reach it just takes that rank…

I am going to assume that ranks will carry over back and forth.

For e.g. If Player A buys Halo HD, gets to General and sells the game then later on buys Halo: Reach, he will be a General in Halo: Reach.

Reach’s multiplayer and CEA’s multiplayer is one and the same. From what they said, there will be two kinds of playlists: One with Reach’s current settings, and one with the new settings.

The same rule still applies to Trueskill when it comes to the new playlists: You’ll need to play that playlist to get a rank.
