Wondering: Will there be an opportunity to earn space bucks (Reach credits) by playing through the CEA campaign?
Since CEA multiplayer is being incorporated into Reach multiplayer, does that mean that campaign challenges (like “The Little Guys,” or the LASO challenges, etc.) can be completed on CEA campaign missions? I don’t see why not, but I’ve never seen anything definite on it.
I believe there will be no credit rewards for playing CEA campaign. I’m not certain on this, however, as I have a hard time tracking down official information. This seems to be fairly accepted though.
The MP is (NOT) being incorporated into Reach multiplayer because the MP is Halo Reach MP and the challenges that are for Reach are just for Halo Reach.

The way that I understood it was that the CEA multiplayer maps (and the firefight one) were made with Reach’s engine, and that the CEA maps would be added into the mix of Reach’s multiplayer and forge world maps. I also thought that there would be a CEA playlist with all the CEA multiplayer maps and with “classic” settings, as well as a Reach playlist with ALL the maps (Reach and CEA maps, provided everyone has them) being in the hopper.
Do I have that wrong?
I have to say, this is all a little confusing. I’d just figured the CEA multiplayer component would be a kinda-sorta SUPER-DLC for Reach apart from CEA-only playlists.

I am sorry I was being stupid I thought you where thinking that the Halo CEA MP was something different from the Halo Reach MP.
> It runs on a different engine, so most likely not. It would be very difficult to make it work, I don’t even know if it would be possible.
Again though, I’m pretty sure that Halo CEA campaign runs on the original CE engine as well as an engine developed by Sabre. The multiplayer, on the other hand, I think is just the Reach engine. I don’t think the engine would interfere with the challenges for multiplayer, but even then I’m not sure. As for campaign? I have NO idea!
