I honestly don’t see any reasoning behind not doing this other than laziness. I understand why CE’s MP wouldn’t work over XBL(netcode) but theres no reason not to include the original MP with updated graphics for local MP play.
while this is true, they probably figure most people use xbl now, which wasn’t around in ce’s days. honestly, it is more or less a dead art, lan parties
that makes sense to me, even though 343 has said nothing on the matter there’s still a good chance in my opinion.

The majority of xbox owners don’t have live. And its far from a dead art, considering most gaming leagues use lan for competitions.

You think so? I’m not pro or anything, but everyone I know uses xbl I guess. I haven’t been to a lan party since halo 2 days
I just want them to add support for 16 Xbox’s so that I don’t have to split 4 way when I want to LAN with 16 people. Unfortunately, people like you and me who LANed since the Halo 1’s day are becoming few and far between. It would be too much work without much payoff.

It is true. The majority of xbox owners do not have a gold XBL subscription

Well Hao Reach is getting a title update which will add a more Classic feel to Halo Reach. So no need for them them to add CE MP. In my opinion anyway.

I don’t care if it’s local only, or if it has no matchmaking (custom games only) I want CE multiplayer. It’s only going to be HALF a remake without it.
