So, when I would buy CEA, what would the playlist options be like. Do I see all Reach playlists or only Anniversary playlists? The same goes for Reach. Maybe we get a new folder next to Competitive, Community etc. with Anniversary in Reach.
Do you think CEA MP will be successfull in creating an experience that will match with most of the expectations? I have my doubts since I have the feeling that any DLC for Halo got rather unnoticed. Free DLC as in H2 may work but in H3 I have barely seen any DLC maps in regular playlists (except for the free Heroic), same goes for Reach even with the supposed to selected lobby members owning the DLC. I also didn’t have the feeling that ODST with its complete H3 MP experience on a disc made much of a difference, regarding the maps. As for the gameplay: CE is 10 YEARS old and the people change, I doubt that it will be even close to those days because the way you play changes. Even the beta for Reach felt different than the retail. Nowadays any kid has access to the internet starting at really young ages, that mixes up the online experience as well. What once was, will never be the same.
What will the statistics be like? Does CEA MP has a chance to attract the same amount of people as Reach did at launch?
Will CEA MP be outstanding or just a bonus to the real CE remake, the campaign?
New playlists always attract players but that eases out eventually …
There is 6 maps: Hang 'em high, Beaver Creek, Timberland, Headlong, Damnation and Prisoner. How many playlists can you create with these? BTB with T and H? Doubles with BC, P and D?
Firefight has just one map …
4v4 will be awesome, Slayer and Objective separated, and FFA will work …
I am looking forward to the maps, but I think the playlists will be a niche.
Thanks for reading.
