Hello. My friend recently bought CE anniversary and he gave me the map pack code that comes with it as he has no intention on using it. I tried to use it and it said that it had been already used. Now I think that my friend is lying to me but he said that he hasn’t used it yet.
is there anyway that I can give the code to someone to see if its tied to an account and get a another or something like that?
Get him to give your money back, or prove to you he has not got the maps.
Contact Xbox Help and support if he is telling the truth, it may be a misprint,
Make sure you double check your entering the code right first tho…

I had same kind of problem with my microsoft point code.
When i tried to redeem it in xbox live it said it was invalid, but when i redeemed it on xbox website it worked just fine and i got my points, so try to redeem it on website and see if that works.
Depending on the error message when you redeemed the code really determines what is wrong. I’m thinking that more than likely, your friend already redeemed the code and gave then gave it to you.
