Yeah I havnt heard much about anything and this was done at the last minute I think only at EB games in Australia.
Still interested if anywhere else did something like this? Metal tin would be sweet.

But tbh, I probably would’ve given it a swerve anyway. Somthing like that would probably run at over £100 in the UK, & that way too much to pay for a game imo. I’m a little surprised that you bit at it actually… considering you already have an RC Hog

I just wanted the collectors pack and now we can race the Warhogs 
I also bought a remote control Scorpion Tank.
My brother got the collector’s edition from EB. Personally, I think they screwed up the visor on the cover a bit.

It’s real. EB Games in Australia put it together themselves. The game case comes in a cardboard sleeve and the game comes with a RC Warthog.

So before I call shenanigans, what store or website did you buy it from? Because for me, the fact that there was no cellophane on the actual game case or disc in the case, this screams fake to me.

No. I saw that people were saying it was an EB Games exclusive. But no one was providing links. So my fault for wording my response poorly. That being said, right on for supplying a link. Because in all honesty, the video does come off as a fake for the reasons I stated.
Meh, doesn’t seem that special to me. If it was an EB thing that wasn’t widely advertised then it probably wasn’t an official collector’s edition. You’d better believe if Microsoft was behind it, we’d all know and we’d all have bought it.
From that link I’d say that they simply bundled one of the Ten year anniversary Warthog cars with the game and called it a limited edition.

Fair enough, in hindsight it’s entirely possible that I would have thought it was fake had I not seen the real thing.
I got a pre-order bonus from GAME Australia, but i ordered before the EB games one was available. It was cheaper at GAME anyway, so i wouldn’t have opted for the RC Hog.
I don’t think it was a legit collectors edition, just a pre-order exclusive.
