Company commendation is fine, personal commendation is not
As in personal stats? or the comm for perfect kills? Whites of their eyes i believe

If i had to guess its because the Halo CE pistol is a power weapon and whites of your eyes can only be obtained with stardard loadout weapons. Just a guess though.
All this information for what contributes to certain commendations should be easily accessed for the community. Not left up to us to guess what works & what doesnt.

One would think… Just like killing someone with a vehcile turret doesnt count as a ground vehicle kill. Hmm. Thats just the way it goes

Well it counts for your personal vehicle kill comms for sure

Probably because the CE pistol was added after the commendation was present. This is the case with quite a few comms (such as grav hammer, grenade launcher, and wasp kills) not counting towards their respective faction weapon/vehicle kill completions
I’m not saying this is the case for certain, but this reason is likely it doesn’t count towards that specific comm.

Is this confirmed? That hammer, grenade launcher I assume would be power weapon kills, and wasp for air vehicles, doesn’t contribute to company comms? Thanks

I think you should be just fine pounding away at the commendations with the Hammer, Grenade Launcher, and the Wasp. I’ve checked my company’s progress with them and they do count.

I thought so. Although grifball hammer kills I believe didn’t contribute, I assume rift ball may be the same. Not 100%

To assume that Grifball / Riftball kills with the Hammer don’t count is absurd. If that’s the case, the commendation would be much harder to complete.

I know they count for personal comms, but company comms seem to be fickle when it comes to certain weapons.
