What kind of hit registration issues are you having? They tweaked some stuff with Halo CE a few updates ago and it has been great for me.

I haven’t had any problems with the pistol so far, or any of the weapons in ce. Halo 2’-Yoink!- detection has been pretty bad for me though.

It’s very inconsistent. First I thought it was a distance thing, but I’d sometimes get two shots to land where I was aiming and the third not hit regardless of how far I was. It’s not just the first three either. Sometimes it takes a couple shots to even land a hit. All this is with a red reticle.
Before their latest update to this, it was kinda like ce pc: more lag = more lead. Now it seems completely random. Within the same game you get a perfect 3 shot with very little lead and then go on to shoot entire magazines without any shots registrating regardless of how much you lead. CE’s netcode was made with 56k modem connections in mind and we are all paying the price for using that one for MCC instead of creating a new netcode from scratch. All we can do is hope that a future patch will improve it.
I haven’t had any problems with the pistol.
Were you pulling the trigger for each shot or just holding the trigger down? This influences the Pistol’s spread.
The Pistol is very finicky at the moment. I’m not sure what exactly is wrong with it, but there certainly is a lot of inconsistency.
I’ve had some random times where I 3 shot people left and right then other times I’m 5 shooting people. It has been weird but then again I could just be fast triggering when I’m 5 shooting
The only time I’ve ever had any issues with the pistol and hit registry is when latency is involved. And I only get latency when I play with friends who don’t live half way 'cross the world from me. So, given that, have you checked your connection settings? Who do you play with? Where do you connect to? These things kinda really matter as the game wasn’t designed around the speed we have today, it was designed around the speed of yesteryear when it was built.
Side note: I freaking love that signature dude572, nearly jealous of it.
