I tried to save one of my replays from my 17 kills to 1 death ratio match but I couldn’t find it, any reading that this would have happened.

Saved films? This is only a thing in H3 onwards.

Theatre Mode is only available in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4, and Halo 2: Anniversary. If you want to capture moments from Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2: Classic then you need to press the “Record that” button on your Xbox One console or Xbox Gamebar on PC.
