CD Broken, still have key...

What can I do, I cannot get a new disk, I still have the key, is there a way to get the demo and input the key??? I loved this game :confused:

patch 1.09 got rid of the CD check, so long as you have your key, you’ll be fine

I can’t believe how unbelievably dumb you sound right now. I was not discussing illegal activity, I was discussing torrenting which is unfortunately used for illegal purposes. Torrenting isnt illegal, he needed a copy of the game, and the link I provided him was not a crack, you couldn’t play it without the key, which he has. It was perfectly fine because he owns the game. You should seriously revise your words and think before you post. Also patch 1.09 got rid of cd check? What does that have to do with anything? He doesnt have the cd. Idiot

The fact that your post almost immediately resorts to personal attacks severely degrades your argument’s potency, please be more mature next time.

patch 1.09 deleted the cd check, therefor, you do not need a CD in your disk drive in order to play Halo CE. A CD key for said game will suffice, provided you update to 1.09 before your first run, via the update program included in the installation.
