Specific to Halo 4, does anyone know which actress it was whose face was used for the face of Catherine Halsey?
I recognize this face as that of an American actress that I’ve seen in the past but the name will not come to me.
End game credits are no help and I’ve googled the hell out of it.
I know I’ve seen that face before and find it strangely odd that it’s not mentioned anywhere in the game credits or IMDB.
P.S. I suppose it is possible that the face was completely computer generated but I find that odd when actors are listed in the credits for Lasky, Palmer, Tillson, Cortana, and others.

Jen Taylor was used as motion capture for Halsey don’t quite know if she was completely modeled after her although she also does Halsey voice.

Well, first off, are you asking who they modeled her face off of or who does the motion capture for her?
The face of Halsey was established in Halo: Reach, and it is not based on a scan of that of an actual actress. That being the case, the credits for Halo 4 do not list a “scanned talent” actress for Halsey. Both her voice and motion capture performance were done by Jen Taylor.
My first post clearly asks about who was the ‘face scan’ actress. Sorry, but the voice actress was never in doubt as anybody whose ever spent any time around Halo has probably heard of Jenn Taylor.
In any case, as I stated before I feel strongly that the recognize the face, albeit aged at least 15-20 years, of a US actress.
I suppose it is possible the face is entirely CG generated thus explaining the lack of a name in the end game credits. I watched through those carefully and also noticed that this was conspicuously absent.
Oh well, guess it is must just be me. I’ll just have to take this unanswered life mystery with me into the Mayan apocalypse tomorrow…
