Jesus, more people saying Halo 4 should be like Halo 2. Just shut up and ADAPT TO THE CHANGE. Honestly, don’t make me get out the demotivational poster again. That’s sure to anger the community.
This is a different game, you cannot adapt to. You can adapt to some changes, but not to a different game.
Seems as if the above two posters missed the point of your post entirely, and decided to ramble about their own feelings on a game that was released 8 years ago and one that has not been released yet.
Anyway, I miss those two game types. I would really like to seem them again.

This has nothing to do with the thread. He simply asked for two of his favorite gametypes to return. How does that even vaguely relate to the “making Halo 4 like Halo 2” discussion. What? If I said I want VIP to return I should get flamed because it was in Halo 3. Do yourself a favor and think before you speak/write.

God I have so many great memories to that gametype. It was awesome. Esspecially when you glitched Custom Games and you have more than 16 people in a game…damn. Just epic.
But I just don’t see how it could be a standard gametype? After all, all it requires would be a map with a tower and turret and people only spawning with a shotgun (and no AA). So we could basically just make it in Forge/Custom Games…
But yes: I do feel it should at least be a gametype in a weekly “Weekend Actionsack” playlist where we get a different gametype every week(end).
I would love for Tower of Power and customs games as a whole to return to their Halo 2 status.
This would happen if they remove all that ridiculousness from matchmaking. Make it so custom games are the only source of playing Zombies and Tower of Power, hide and seek, etc.
Franky said that MM playlists will be clean and focused without too many of them existing but enough to cater to different tastes. If customs were the only way to experience fun gametypes that should be enjoyed with YOUR friends and not strangers, (or at least make new friends from your friends of friends) then people would play them more, and realize what they’ve been missing out on.
People have become so anti-social and intolerant of others and have grown far too comfortable in their party/private chats. I just wish we could go back to enjoying customs with everyone in the community and not worry about stupid stuff.
Playing Zombies in your own custom lobby is a hell of a lot more different than playing with a bunch of random micless scrubs in MM. But I think this is a community issue more than it is a 343 issue.
