I wouldn’t mind Hayabusa making its return hell I would rock it
no no you do its just that the hate was rare or rare as in I never came to the forums until like h5
He’s saying he didn’t see it. That doesn’t mean people didn’t do it. I just said I hated it, but I didn’t give a damn enough to post on the forums about it.
Same. I loved that helmet. Ske7ch343 stated they plan to eventually port over everything from MCC and the past games. I will not lie, I’d blow $20 on Hayabusa.
no im more or less meant I rarely saw posts about it I didnt mean no didnt hate anything silly thats impossible to happen
The only thing I see blocking it is licensing as it was crossover armor essentially
Hayabusa actually looks intimidating. Cat ears do not, they look cutesy.
don’t give 343 any ideas please that’s the last thing I want to see in halo, it’s bad enough in COD
I think they know the limits they can push with the silly
Well it still exists in Halo MCC so they can maybe port it as a free Battle Pass item, but maybe can’t sell it.
And also required a suspension of disbelief despite the cool factor.
Much like the Haunted and Mister Chief helmet, armor effects across all titles, and 98% of the customization options added to Halo MCC from season 8 to present.
Here’s the thing. Kookiness has been a tacky glue stick and glitter covered brick in this franchise’s wall since Halo CE, this is undeniable. There’s been some points that push the boundaries a bit, but the shark has never been jumped.
The silliness has always been incorporated in a way that might take your attention away from sense of immersion, but it never pull you out completely. The pineapple grenades (soon to be ornaments) and the “Meownir” cat ears are honestly straight up old school Bungie levels of goofiness. They’re subtle, they’re punny, but they don’t rip you out of the immersion of the game’s world, just make you roll your eyes a bit.
They might not be your cup of tea, but they’re not this god awful slip into CoD Kawaii Mara and rainbow tracer turn-you-to-a-gold-statue territory. They fit into the undertones of weird “Jason Jones in gym shorts/in a crowd of covenant” “look a family of static mishapen ape people” that is hard baked into this franchise as it is. There are things in than franchise that are far more questionable that pineapple grenades and cat ear helmet attachments, so if I assume if you’re fine with those then I don’t see what the problem is here.
CrespoFTW actually posted a great pic on his channel that sums up the armor archetypes well:

Maybe they do maybe they dont. They’ve also got pizza and bacon charms which some could say aren’t thematic to the universe either and are new additions.
They’ve got 10 years to make stuff. They’re gonna run out of the simple ideas real quick.
Yeah in halo 3 only on mcc
Couldn’t say it better myself dude also I might be sharing this post whenever someone argues about the cat ears in the future as you explained it better than I ever could lol
They’ve got 10 years to jump the shark as you say. Time will tell.
Well since we have the Yoroi core, we might see a variant of the Hayabusa armors someday. They still have the Busido armor set from Halo Online, along with a bunch of other armors they haven’t even ported to MCC. I expect at least 117 armor sets before Halo Infinite is done with battle passes in 10 years.

I’m fairly certain they will, and that does worry me. But these items are not what’s going to lead to that decline, we’ll see it represented in other more obvious ways.
Huh? Do things not start subtlety or do you think they’re extreme from the start? Cutesy pink and white cat ear armor isn’t too subtle either.
I mean it’s obviously a joke cosmetic bundle lol
It’s just a prank, bro! Until it isn’t.
dun dun DUUUUUNNNNNN
