Cat ears? Really?

Hey look, I’m not the biggest fan of the person you are replying to, but there are far more constructive ways to take or continue this discussion than simple jabs at their character.

I dunno man the sword could be made of some materal that allows it to stand toe to toe with an anergy sword, you never know…

And you know what if it does it does if it doesn’t then it doesn’t.

You tryhards need to get over yourselves - pretty funny how butthurt you are over cosmetic items.

The color pink is silly in nature to include in a game like this, its why it was bundled with cat ears.

To be honest because of how limited coatings are as far as customization goes coatings are worth like 1 dollar to me.

Well, technically wasn’t that changed in Halo 4? Multiplayer became the spartans training in war games on the Infinity, thus becoming canon?

I guess but it started kind of with halo 3 with the customizable armor pieces…

The only people who bought that crap never had any integrity to begin with. It’s sad that 343 is resulting to fortnite level of cringey cosmetics and people unironically purchase it and even defend it.

If it does, then that’s bad for Halo. But like I said, I can’t wait. Since you guys will just allow anything.

Oh no, cat ears in my game where dead spartans can emit children cheering, look like literal samurai, carry literal swords, carry 500+ year old video game consoles on their backs, light their heads on fire then not die, shove a human skull into a helmet, and have literal unicorns for their helmets! Anything but that, please!

You assume I don’t think the Xbox on your back and the unicorn helmets aren’t dumb as well? You think I actually LIKE the samurai armor in infinite??? Lmao no…it was there attempt at the haybusa armor which is actually cool and not overtly silly. Even if I don’t like their samurai armor it is again, not an attempt to be silly and “fun”

and yet…still looks like a decent skin.

cat ears look dumb. not quite rainbow six siege level terrible but still crap.

Their cute little triangles if you dont want them its whatever will say its fun seeing how they look on different Helmets though

Killed people with them on get salty messages sometimes so its pretty fun but i understand dieing to someone wearing them for some reason its like its taunting you

You care waaaay too much about something that doesn’t matter in the slightest…

I think halo 5 had it right. Halo 5 had some silly cat themed weapon skins which were fun but not overly silly. I agree the cat ears armor takes it too far. I’d have no problem with silly weapon skins returning tho

The point is, how far is too far? It starts with cat ears but how far will they go with wacky skins?

That’s what many players are worried about, you can look past the silly cat ears as you say as they are small but as the skins get more dumb looking they will be harder to not notice.

look at all the crap cosmetics ubishaft has put in siege. first couple of years were inkeeping with the rainbow six idea but after that it became a sci-fi fantasy hero shooter.

with dumb events and unrealistic operators and gadgets…

no one wants non halo stuff in a halo.

it’s like how star trek picard is not star trek. it’s a mess. how do they got from TNG to wtf it is now?

basically if they go too far with sh*t cosmetics, it stops being halo and it’s then just another overwatch/siege/apex/valorant/pubg/fortnite

no…gotta draw the line somewhere. just because cosmetics sell and are popular, doesn’t mean they equal a great game / experience.

The point is, how far is too far? It starts with pink armor color, crazy emblem designs, and Ninja crossover armor, but how far will they go with wacky cosmetics?
