I forget about those doors, but definitely remember the EOD insults (I forgot what precisely they were at the time of writing, thank you!) and yeah the… comments about the elite assault helmet were uh, definitely accurate, lol.
I refer you to my previous post
Rogue was never intended to be silly and was my favourite, it has no silly aspects to it, just pareidolia, the skull inside the pilot helmet wasn’t goofy, or silly, it was just tacky. And hayabusa wasn’t silly either in the slightest, maybe the katana was stupid kinda, but not silly in the slightest. Just because something is unorthodox doesn’t mean it’s silly
Bad designs =/ silly
My dude you take off you’re own head with the haunted helmet in the campaign it does have goofy elements to it
Wrong as halo 5’s are a perfect example of bad designs being silly
Also the assault armor isn’t a bad design
“Bungie good 343i bad.”
So, because the helmet wasn’t meant to be taken into the campaign, that makes it silly and goofy and funny? You seem easily amused
It’s designed to be taken into the campaign
The entire point of noble 6 was to take your spartan and everything they are wearing and have them be part of the story that’s why you don’t see armor effects in cutscenes
But guess what does appear in cut scenes and if they could easily use the pilot helmet for the beginning cutscene but bungie found it funnier to have the skull being a part of the cutscenes these are the same guys behind the butthoke doors and has one employee half naked being a Easter egg in halo 2 and 3
And this is coming from someone who loves the haunted helmet
“I can’t think of anything to say, so I repeat the same thing everyone else says when they can’t justify their opinions” nice one dude, you couldn’t be more wrong
Sure, in that specific cutscene it looks stupid, but not silly or goofy, silly and goofy means to try and be funny, there’s no context to it trying to be funny at all, so I just chuck it up to unintentional
If you don’t find the concept of noble 6 taking his own head off and putting it back on silly and just idiotic
You must have a stick up your -Yoink!- a lot of the time
Listen, I could waste my breath but, honestly, Majin here’s got us both covered tbh.
Bungie was known for being jokesters in the past looks at pimps at sea
And the jokes of halo getting Playstation ports
So, because Bungie made jokes, that means halo is inherently silly? What?
And I’m very certain that the haunted helmet was just a tacky way to be cool, just like the flaming helmet and inclement weather, the cutscene really doesn’t seem intentional because you’re still looking through the eyes of noble 6, it’s just an oversight on bungie’s sake
so do these actually show up in the game itself or is it simply in lobbies? I mean it’s not something I actually want to see when fighting
You asked for examples of silly aesthetics we gave you examples you’re just writing them off
Yeah, the haunted helmet is not inherently silly, it’s supposed to look cool. the fact the helmet didn’t work well with a cutscene and had ridiculous connotations doesn’t mean anything.
I’m seeing a lot of malding and seething. Allow me to put it this way; I like? I buy. If I can look like a weeb in Halo 3 then I can have some hardly noticable cat ears in Infinite.
I really love my doggy helmet. Woof woof y’all.
