Cat ears? Really?

They at least fit the armor. Go complain about the snowman and reindeer antlers, stuff that actually doesn’t fit the armor.

You’re right, it’s not.

Deal with it I guess lmao.

Cat ears are too silly, in a series that’s featured a sci-fi unicorn helmet, an actual katana, flaming/electric/winged hearted/pestilence fumed helmet effects, a confetti exploding cheer effect, and the numerous over-the-top nonsense armor and helmet designs of Halo 5?

I get the complaint about the price, but acting like it’s “too silly” for Halo? Bit of a stretch peeps.

Exactly

I think Arnold, in the movie Kindergarden Cop says it best…

To everyone that has a problem with the Cat Ears…

eh i prefer Van halen: Jamie’s crying better.

What silly stuff? I’m wondering what silly armor you’re talking about

Calm down buddy, let people have their own opinion, if people decide to talk about it, let them, if you can’t deal with it, just ignore it, just like everyone who hates the ears have to ignore the ears

Right, because halo 5 was obviously respected for it’s artstyle, but still, fotus was much more respectable than actual cat ears because it wasn’t meant to look like an actual unicorn, because it doesn’t look like a horse with a horn, and the armor effects at least weren’t actual armor pieces.

F it, get rid of armor effects too, they are too silly and unrealistic for this game

Halo 3 is one helluva game, I agree. 343 doesn’t know how to do “fun” without going too far apparently. Reach was alright but at least it still felt like a Halo game somehow.

“nO fUn aLlowED” mess me with that weak excuse.

Aaaand nothing you’ve said here takes away from the fact that “silly” has existed within Halo for years. I think the amount of people that are actually buying them (especially at that price) is utterly absurd, but that has no bearing on the place of silly things in Halo.

Name me 1 silly halo armor, please, like I said, none of the silly stuff in previous halo games even touched the aesthetics, so please name me some silly armor before 343 injected them into halo. Aka before they added armour in the mcc

Though i see this argument from mid-grade, let me ask you this. Who are you to decide and say that this silly crap doesn’t belong in halo? Are you some messiah or something where everyone should follow you and take your word as absolute? It’s something new, games add new things if people want to buy them then let them buy them. There are literally real-life helmets that have these attachments that I have seen numerous times so there should be no issue. Also, halo stopped following lore back in halo 3 when Hayabusa came out because the design was completely based on a character that had nothing to do with the halo universe but nobody complained.

People used to make fun of Rogue for having a whistling mouth.

The skull pilot helmet was also pretty goofy.

and, to be honest, from a certain point of view, you could definitely argue Hayabusa was kind of silly.

People also used to make fun of eod as well calling it the monkey helmet also the elite assault armor used to be made fun of for looking like a head of a -Yoink!-

Also outside of armor don’t forget about the -Yoink!- doors in halo 3 as well
