Cat ears best cosmetic

Right? Remember when we could be unicorns?

How about literally dead when your skull is clearly visible underneath your visor and helmet?

Which you take off in the opening of reach lol so you literally remove your own head

Every hear the legend of the headless warthog rider

The “silly cosmetics” are the current problem though. Nobody seems interested in the price now, just that the kawaii/anime/furry/streamer look is represented in game, using the game’s art style and armor look to incorporate it.

The very fact your point didn’t end with the “price” argument, and instead proceed to justify other goofy cosmetics shows me that this is entirely about “silly cosmetics”. Crossover Ninja man with a Katana and flaming heads are badass, but how is that any more believable than armored cat ears?

It’s not believablility nor cat ears… are you choosing to ignore all my points lmao??? Just scroll up a bit to understand my arguments instead of talking to me about kawaii culture

Well let’s see:

:arrow_down::arrow_down::arrow_down::arrow_down::arrow_down::arrow_down::arrow_down::arrow_down:

Well your point is clearly not about the price tag or you would’ve banked on arguments about the price.

Instead you went right to defending other iterations of silly cosmetics while simultaneously harping on silly cosmetics lol

So what is the point you’re trying to make with your last reply? Because I’m certainly confused by your current outburst suggesting I’m ignoring the “points” when you had only one and covered up with a red herring, both of which I directly addressed.

Bud, my way of replying to points revolves around taking arguments apart and responding to them piece by piece, leaving no stone unturned.

If you think I’m talking to you about “kawaii culture” when I used “kawaii” once next to a bunch of other generalized pop culture subsects, then you need to scroll up a bit and understand my argument rather than misunderstand my use of buzzwords.

I addressed “your point”, and then proceeded to point out that “your point” wasn’t actually “the point” you were trying to make and addressed the actual “point” “your point” was trying not to point out.

So what is the “point”?

But than they wouldn’t be able to charge you let helmet like they do with the coatings blend and charms.

I know that would make sense from our side but they are going to dime and nickel every item in a way where they can sell you the color red 5 times over

Damn can you report spam on this forum, wtf are you even ranting about. You’re just going on and on and on about nothing to do with the point of this post??? I literally said “if that mattered” and then compared badass armors to kitty cat ears and now you’re typing up a doctoral thesis’ of something I said that you don’t understand.

I swear everytime I see you reply to someone it’s a long winded 19 page double spaced essay, please don’t reply to me with another one of those spammy messages or I’m blocking you.

Once cross core comes into play, it’s going to be nuts.

It’ll open the floodgates for wacky combinations, but it’ll also give those who want a serious look so much more freedom. I can’t wait for the latter.

Can’t wait to be a unicorn/kitty ear/ pig nose/ duck bill flaming ninja with a pegged leg.

Yes you can, but this isn’t spam.

Buddy, a branching dialogue can occur within a topic if the subject matter remains close enough to the initial point.

Reporting me for spam when I’m responding with subject congruent points to the subject congruent points you’re making within the post is false reporting. I’m staying on topic, you were staying on topic, just trying to continue a dialogue and understand the point you’re trying to make when being accused of ignoring the point your trying to make.

Maybe you did to someone else, but you “literally” did not to me, here’s an exact quote.

I was responding to your point about how ninja armor and flaming heads somehow “fits perfectly in a futuristic shooting game” when cat ears do not, but was accused of ignoring the point even though I addressed it in full in my “doctoral thesis”.

I would personally love to keep discussing this with you.

There isn’t any way to block other forum users, but you do you.

Well being a grammar and debate nerd that tends to happen. I like engaging in conversation through written words because it’s what I’m good at. I’m responding to and countering your points, nothing more.

The dialogue was going well all things considered, great points about the subject were being made. It sounds like you don’t wanna continue the initial conversation which is fine, but you should’ve just ghosted my last response rather than escalating the issue by threatening a false report and accusing me of something you were doing.

But any continuation of this ulterior disagreement is no longer on topic. Unless we can get back onto the subject where we left off, I’m not going to keep this unnecessary spat going.

Oh god here he goes again. Blocked.

Anyways I’m all for a game having silly customization. And especially since Reach it’s been quite common. Dude with a huge bulky shoulder with a knife and carved up skull mask? Surely that’s against some unsc regulation but who cares it’s awesome. Kats robot arm was our first look at a disability of a Spartan beyond just what’s in the books so awesome. Inclement weather and pestilence let you know oh crap these guys grinded and are dedicated to the game, legendary flames meant you were playing a fellow halo collector with the cash for it lol. Edit: almost forgot Jun, with his 3 random bullets on his shoulder, knife glued on his other (which was strangely omitted in infinite) and his scarf which has no purpose other than hey he’s a sniper why not.

Katana in 3 meant this person got every achievement before dlc, flames meant u were facing a bungie employee, recon was a grueling vidmaster challenge and now it’s been resorted to some throwaway helmet that gets uglier every halo since.

Halo has had fun goofy armor since 3 introduced customization beyond colors and emblems and no one has a problem. My point stands, it sucks when the best armors the best attachments, best colors are in the most expensive bundles, the end.

If they want to add furry suits and big gaming mics for Spartans, skeleton heads and sanghelli armor for Spartans literally anything is fine… the end I don’t know why this guy keeps pouncing on me over something he completely isn’t understanding

I would rather have playable sangheili and i have been missing then for 11 years.

Why did we get cat spartans befroe sangheili

I mean, I want playable elites too, but creating a working first person model for elites with a somewhat balanced hitbox would take more work than cat ears. And if they’re going to go the Reach route and care less about balance, that’s fine, but they’re either need a gametype to use them in, or to improve custom games. Plus, with that route they still need a working first person model. I won’t be surprised if they add in elites eventually, and I’d welcome them, but one can see it’s a lot easier to add cat ears than playable elites.

The game is F2P and we all knew what was going to happen.

The compromise would be that ALL the lore frendliy armor or armor from old Halo would be free to unlock by “playing” for everyone who doesn’t want to go through the store and the goofy armor/skin like the cat ears would be in the store/BP for those who want to pay.

Everyone wins

I mean they would have to add certain animations plus a new hud for the playable elites and that could take some time but the ears have already been made and been in the data and was most likely added before they even said that they would probably add playable elites in a update

And this is coming from a elite preferred species in halo 2

I love how people are losing their minds over them, I’m buying the set just to spite them.

I’m gonna gift them to a few people that have been crying about it.
