It goes on multiple helmets and we get a armor coating and charms to go along with it imo it should be worth 5 dollars but oh well I had extra cash on hand so I’ll buy this one thing and treat myself and put money into the game

The cap is good - it basically says, “Okay. You’ve had your time. Go do something else, come back tomorrow.”
and honestly, I really like that. It’s healthy to encourage players to disengage but, also to have reasons to come back.

I agree it should be worth 5 dollars, and many others have the same sentiment and have been voicing their concerns.
That “oh well i had extra money” mentality and fanbase is what 343 is basing their prices on. If you have 5 bucks to spend then you have 10 bucks, then 15, then 20.

It’s the only thing I bought besides the scam that is the hcs section of the store(thought I could use the visor and coating from the cloud 9 bundle on all cores and not be a kit)
This as well, and from what it looks like their is no indication that you cant change anything before you buy it which is super scummy.

Not the cadre of other silly cosmetics that have been released over the years from Hayabusa and Flaming heads? Not the wild break from Halo style gameplay with 4 and 5? Not the bizarre spin-offs ranging from top down shooters to arcade machines? But two little art style incorporated pyramids?

Even if “silly cosmetics” were somehow the problem here and not that they cost 10 bucks. Hayabusa and flaming heads are badass, fit perfectly in a futuristic shooting game. Not cat ears so pretty goofy comparaison

I dont even mind that, its funny and silly. I dont mind the cat ears. I dont mind samurai swords despite not being able to use them. I dont mind Emile ruining an EVA helmet by carving a skull in it that would have no use but make it weaker. I dont mind gungnir that is just a small eyeball for a visor, or fotus that has a pointless unicorn horn just to sell a console bundle. Halo is full of goofy stuff, its just strange to see the cat ears that breaks everyone dedication to seeing the store be fixed.
Agreed honestly if it wasn’t for fomo I wouldn’t have gotten them and would’ve wait for a price cut but I really wanted the cat ears because I realized I could make a armor themed around my favorite shiny pokemon(90’s kid who loves pokemon) mew

See this is my concern too, I dont mind dropping 10 bucks, whatever the game is free and i got the campaign for a dollar. I just dont want something cooler coming out next week where i go down a cycle already spending 60 bucks on the game when there is barely any actual changes or enhancements to gameplay.
Plus if they were to cut prices I just dropped 10 bucks on it when its now 5, etc.
Honestly If they removed the core limitation and reduce the prices by
45% a lot of these bundles would be bought a lot more and the store would be somewhat fixed I say somewhat as it still would have fomo

Agreed, they need to just make a Shop section on the menu and it brings up every item for sale, bundles with a discount or seperate items, split into tabs. No more core locked colors, vehicle locked colors. Make 1 emblem work on guns, callsign, armor. Then just have a featured section for event related items or seasonal things. Or have the daily shop have collab items like the monster skins, rockstar, nerf etc.
Agreed that way there would be no fomo
