I don’t want to buy it but I am curious. The Cat Ears helmet addon, is that limited to a specific helmet? Or a specific armor core? It doesn’t say anything about that and when I put ‘try on’ it defaults to the Mark VII Core…

It is for every helmet on MK VII core. I’m betting it would work just fine on MK V [B], but it’s just disabled.

It can be used on any Mk. VII helmet.
Also you can check these things without actually buying them. All locked attachments can be viewed in the customization menu. For future reference of course.

They never said how expansive they’ll make it, or if it would apply to attachments. So like, if you want the Cat Ears do you buy them now in hopes they’ll be made cross core, and then be disappointed if they aren’t? Do you not buy them because you don’t know if they’ll be crosscore and you don’t want to risk it? It puts the players in an awkward predicament. Not just because we don’t know what exactly will be crosscore, but because of the FOMO nature of the store, we don’t know if we’ll be able to buy the items if they are made crosscore in the future.
I was tempted, came close to buying, but i’m not budging… I don’t care how cute they are, I refuse to support this model of locking down cosmetics to specific armor cores. Maybe someday when they open up all cores for mixing and matching I can consider shelling out some cash, but even so…
That part was unclear I admit but who knows they might let attached be cross core though probably to an extent even on mk v b core not ever attachment can be used on all the helmet like the cbrn attachment it works fine on some but some like Eva and mk vi doesn’t look good or makes no sense to put on
