U musty bees joking me, majestic sold very well and that doesn’t count all the season pass owners.
Really? Cause I’ve never once seen a Majestic map on the SWAT playlist…
These maps are garbage. Perdition is the only decent map. The other 2 i feel like were supposed to be smaller but 343 said “hey, the worst of our community plays BTB and loves the dmr, plasma pistol and plasma grendades. Lets give them a map pack”!!
WOW. I see it all the time in SWAT.

Eh, doesn’t mean anything. I come up against majestic maps a lot in rumble pit and Team Throwdown a lot.
Not to mention majestic was in the top 5 most popular add ons for a little bit. They sell well, don’t be hating

You clicked on this post looking to disagree, you saw this as a perfect opportunity to argue. Therefore, I don’t believe you =)
I have seen Majestic maps once outside the playlist. And I would argue they are the best set of maps in the game along with Haven.
But since Reach I have come to expect this with Halo DLC. That is why unless I judge a map pack to be exceptional I’m not going to buy it. You pretty much need to go into buying these things expecting to only play them while their dedicated playlist is up.

It does mean something, sir. A. People aren’t buying maps, or B. They really don’t know how to balance DLC.

I played four in a row on majestic maps on swat about two hours ago. Check my recent games. Your argument is invalid.
Play the maps mate, they’re really good.
Both the Majestic and Castle map packs so far have been awesome, you can’t argue with the 20k population difference from last week and tonight

At least Reach has 9 CQ maps at launch. This game only had 4 at launch. F-ing 4. And now with the latest DLC, CQ maps are at 7, which 3 can’t even be found on most of the playlists… and adds 3 BTB maps… for a total of like 25 BTB maps. Such crap. I’m already looking forward to Destiny. To hell with all this crappy DLC
they especially wont buy them when the fans find out they have been decieved and the maps are not 6 v 6 as advertised but 4v4. the maps are so big 4v4 does not work.

They haven’t been able to balance DLC since Halo 3, so that’s nothing new.
Really pisses me off how they can’t implement it properly into the other playlists… I can’t remember the last time I played a DLC map outside a DLC exclusive playlist.
Ok well I’m gonna sign on and if I don’t see one Majestic map for 3 games, you’re in big big trouble.

Have you bought the maps?
It’s all about who has the maps and whether everyone can play them
Infact, what am I doing?
I’ll just leave you and your overzealous Halo 4 hate to this thread, stay here though ok?

I wasn’t even talking to you

While I share your sentiment to an extent and would take CQC over BTB maps if I had to choose, I did feel like that was a weakness of Reach. If you wanted to play Big Team you either had to use one of the meant-for-invasion maps or one of the dozens of bland, grey, repetitive forge world maps.
Halo hasn’t truly had good maps since Halo 3. That game had a solid balance of small, mid, large, and huge maps. And the DLC was handled better than any other game on the 360, not only did they make it required for certain playlists so people had to buy it, but it became free after a while. FREE. Can anyone argue with the awesomeness of that? That meant if you bought the maps for a measly ten bucks, you had access before anyone else, and you knew you would see them in MM regularly after like 4 or so months. I can’t applaud Bungie enough for that.
There’s also this option called ‘custom games’. You know, for getting a group of friends together and playing something you know you all enjoy rather than being subject to the whims of anonymous masses.
