Hello there fellow Spartans. I am beginning casting for a movie I plan on making called “Contamination” in Halo 4. I am looking for people to help me. I need people for 3 jobs: Acting, Video Taping, and Forging.
Actors will have to choose from 3 choices of team, Soldiers, civilians and the Flood. Soldiers will carry around their choice of a human load out gun and a magnum and will shoot at the flood. Soldiers have to have camouflage green and black as their armor colors. Civilians will carry energy swords that are out of ammo and will drive around in warthogs and mongooses. They have a greater chance of being infected and will just run around like mad men. They can keep their armor colors. The flood will go around and kill any Spartan in sight. They have no shields but must not seem like they are actual players.
Since this will be my first ever halo film, I have no experience in film editing. Therefore, I will film parts that I want in my movie in order, upload them to my file share in order and then have the Video Tapers setup the movie. Also currently I do not have a YouTube account. I will ask my parents if I can get one, but if that doesn’t happen, I need someone to post the movie and say I made it. Please and thank you.
Lastly, I will need people with a lot of forging experience to make the sets for the movie. I will later post what kind of maps I need for the movie.

Hey I want to help out with body acting, but would like to know the time zone that you are in. Also you said that this is your first movie/Machinima that you ever make. Because you said that I want to know if you have actually done any acting/helping out with machinimas. Before you are going to make this (in my mind a long probably 20-40 minute video), you should know exactly what you are going to do. You typed in that it’s going to be a kill on sight thing, and that’s already not very well thought out/organized project.
For maps: try to look for forging groups or guys on youtube who can help with “special orders”. They are great to go for since they make a lot of great maps. But you may have to be specific on location, and try to have to film evolve around the map if you can.
Body acting: Again I can help with tips/ideas of what you can and shouldn’t do. One of the main things people, like me, look for in machinimas are errors in the actors. It’s good that you thought out the characters and their armor/weapons so no worries there.
Recording/film editing: If you can; think out the movie before hand to come up with camera angles to get recorded. You really should practice so when you plan to give the editors the clips, they are already set-up and all they need is just the special editing. Saves time and less hassle when trying to communicate with each other.
Other notes: Just watch other Halo zombie machinimas for ideas, and talk to the directors for tips. Also try to go help with body acting for other machinimas for experience, and learn what to do from other directors.

Well my friends one time did a video just for us called Funny Halo, so I have some experience in Machinimas. I plan on having a part where the main character goes into space, hoping to find a safe haven from the zombies. Also, the research facility where the infection begins is in the middle of the ocean. I am currently brainstorming about the movie. The reason I chose kill on sight is because most zombie Machinimas that I’ve seen do that with the zombies. I look forward to having you in my film.
