Hello everyone! So my friends and I have been working on a Halo machinima for a few years now and we’ve finally gotten a story that really flows well and made us all happy. This first installment in the series will use Halo: Reach multiplayer whereas the other two films in the series will use Halo 4 (there is a plot related reason for this which I won’t state here.) There are a couple roles for the first installment of the film that are still open and I wanted to know if anyone may be interested in them. First off, I’ll give you a little plot synopsis:
The story centers around a Spartan team as they are sent to a planet to recover an AI that was just constructed there. A mercenary group that is led by a UNSC traitor known as Ares Corps is also looking for this AI to try and bargain with the Covenant. The Spartan team must retrieve this AI and get off the planet before Ares Corps can give the AI to the Covenant.
Currently we have four open roles. Here are the roles that are open with a brief description of each:
Clayton “Clay”- A member of the Spartan team and also its second in command. Clayton is the sniper of the group and keeps and eye out on the others while at the same time having a sarcastic side especially towards one of the other characters.
Dominic- A member of the Spartan team and is the quiet guy of the group. Dominic doesn’t say much but he gets the job done. He is more of an Emile type from Reach.
Captain Devroe- A stern, yet sarcastic Captain who is in charge of the operation to retrieve the AI.
General Colson- A member of Ares Corps and the leader of the Ares Corps troops on the planet. He is a witty kind of person who takes his job seriously but also finds it amusing. Sort of a Handsome Jack from Borderlands kind of guy.
Now we also have two more roles that are somewhat up for audition. Two people are in mind for these roles but if they decide they do not want the role then we’ll need someone to fill in.
Troy- Leader of the Spartan team. Takes his job very serious and is a stern person who doesn’t show much joy or enthusiasm after the events that happen.
Lily- A member of the Spartan team. A happy go lucky person but not a girl who would like pink and unicorns.
Here are some other roles that are available:
Sarah- A member of another Spartan team. She knows what it takes to get the job done and will stop at nothing to accomplish it.
General Kal Barnett- A high ranking officer of Ares Corps. Aside from the main leader of Ares Corps he shares the same level of corruption and wants to see people (especially Spartans) suffer.
Breaker- Right hand man to Barnett and a Bane kind of guy in general. He was rejected from the Spartan IV program and wants to enact his revenge against those in his place.
Captain Paul Tome- Captain of a UNSC ship housing a Spartan IV team.
Aurora- Shipboard AI of Tome’s ship.
General James Tyson- Member of Ares Corps who is pretty much second in command despite not being as devoted as Barnett.
Ares Corps Leader- This man is evil and wants to watch the world burn.
Batman references aside, those are the roles available.
