uh…you do understand that the “spartans never die, they are just missing in action” is from the books where the UNSC would not allow spartans to be listed as KIA, because it would greatly reduce the morale of normal soldiers, so they always list them as MIA.

If you get rampant and kill some Marines Carter kills you and says that you weren’t a Spartan since you could die.
