What could this mean on Waypoint?
Well it’s not quite a sticky but it is a call to post of sorts.
I’d like to see the ability for certain topics to be “flagged”. What does this mean if a topic is flagged?
Why it means that this is a main/prime topic of its kind.
It’s nothing beyond a little indicator of some sorts to just to flag itself to all that indeed though the topic may not be stickied, it’s of great importance.
Would this be an example, or is it a little explanation that will be added to an FAQ later on? Or even a suggestion?
Bit confusing is all to me.

Suggestion. It’s not like it would help. Threads about the same topic will still be created repeatedly.
So basically, a marker for the megathreads that we tend to redirect (and occasionally merge) newer threads to?
It’s a good idea, but I’m not sure how much of an impact it will make. The marker is only visible if the thread is visible, and only pinned threads are always visible.
But for the 50 page wanderers and days when information Floods the pages… Who knows? 
It certainly isn’t needed, but could it help? Could something similar work? (Is there something similar, other than stickies and favourites?)
(Also, removed stickies can get a flag too…)
