Whenever i press the “View Last Carnage Report” button and go to my profile and check my campaign career stats from Halo 3, it says that i haven’t played Halo 3’s campaign.

Yeah this is apparently a common glitch for people, I have the same thing show up for my Halo 3 stats as well. The numbers are there, but still says “UNPLAYED” for some reason.
