What happened to being able to view all of your own personal accolades? First off, what are all the accolades? Second, how do I distinguish between easy accolades and mythic accolades? And finally, how many of each accolades have I earned throughout my career, or which ones have I not achieved yet? Besides the “after match results”, it would be nice to see how many Overkill, Skyjack, QuickDraw, etc. accolades I’ve earned in a season or All-Time.
Additionally, I think the Theater is interesting, but redundant since there is a capture mode for console. How many players actually spend time reviewing every match they play? And if there is a cool moment, press the capture button, or sequence of buttons, at least, on your Xbox controller.
Theater is an appreciated feature by machinima creators & people who wish to review their plays in a match, recording from the controller only captures the past 30 seconds & the required moment people wish to capture might’ve taken place over a longer period and require theater to extract it.
You’re not wrong, and I do think it’s a usable feature. I’ve used it to provide feedback to the Dev’s, and investigate some off the wall plays. IMO, I feel it has some drawbacks to the overall development of the game, i.e. more focus could’ve been placed in other areas of development. Also, a simple setting change can increase the record time of captures. And, recordings can be configured to capture prior to actually hitting the capture sequence in a way that if you are preoccupied to start recording, one could still capture the moments prior.
Too be honest I’d prefer they scrap the daily exp and give us experience based on the accolades , even if it’s just 5xp and 10 for the next level up and so on , at least then when you enter a oddball game player will want to grab the ball and keep it to obtain that extra exp , same goes for CTF and slayer . It will encourage gameplay based on the scenarios grind.
